Coordinator Cochair application

The three cochairs of the PARATROOPers are ultimately responsible for the success, execution, and quality of the output from the work group. We’re looking for a Coordinator Cochair to join us.

Job overview

The Coordinator Cochair is a volunteer position generally tasked with keeping the work group connected through regular communication and coordination of Zoom meetings and emails.

They foster brainstorming, lead strategy efforts, delegate tasks, and work to remove obstacles.

They also coordinate resources to continually increase team throughput and encourage the PARATROOPers team to work in ways that minimize key person dependency and knowledge silos.

As well, they close the communication loop for current projects.

The Coordinating Cochair may be asked to represent the PARATROOPers at public events, including public speaking.

 Skills required 

  • Must be a current participant in the RECOVER adult cohort study

  • Ability to work independently and proactively

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills

  • Team collaboration

  • Adaptability

  • Analytical thinking problem-solving

  • Strong execution/finishing skills
